Sea Emily Run in game success
SEA Emily Run put up a gutsy effort to land her second career success at Chester on Saturday.
SEA Emily Run put up a gutsy effort to land her second career success at Chester on Saturday.
The daughter of Too Darn Hot took the 6f fillies' handicap in the colours of Corn Hall Racing.
She was drawn well in three but looked ill-at ease on Chester's tight turns during the early stages. Jockey Jack Mitchell kept her balanced and helped her find her feet.
She swung wide into the straight but knuckled down really well to get up on the line, winning by a head.
Tom said: "She didn't love the track but she managed to overcome this and win. She's a lovely filly and can hopefully go one from this."
