Lord Normandy romps to 'Whip' success

YARD favourite Lord Normandy landed the Jockey Club 'Whip' at Newmarket on Friday.
Running in the colours of his trainer, Lord Normandy ran out an emphatic winner of this historic prize under jockey Jack Mitchell.
He sat second of the three runners and victory never looked in doubt as he quickened clear to win by eight lenghts.
The son of Le Harve was completing a Rowley Mile double having landed the trainers' race under Tom a month ago.
Tom said: "This is a special race to win and we are thrilled to support it. This horse is a real legend in our stable - he leads a lot of the work so doesn't run much but this was down the road and we thought he might enjoy it. It has worked out well."
