Crack On Boys too strong in Racing League

CRACK ON BOYS ran out a convincing winner of the 1m £50k Racing League race at Newcastle on Thursday night.

CRACK ON BOYS ran out a convincing winner of the 1m £50k Racing League race at Newcastle on Thursday night.

The son of Cracksman won his maiden over course and distance in February and had run with credit when last seen in action at Sandown.

Back on the all-weather and ridden with restraint by Jack Mitchell, Crack on Boys showed a decent turn of foot to win by a length.

Tom said: "This is a great pot to win for his owners and he is a progressive colt back on the all-weather. He looks like 10-furlongs will suit on this surface and there should be more to come from him."

It was a good couple of days for the team with Al Nayirr putting up a good effort to be third in the Group 2 Lonsdale Cup at York whist Cuban Lady went down by just a nose in the fillies handicap at Newmarket.
