Gold Club contests the six-furlong handicap at 2.20 where he will be ridden by Stevie Donohoe. Owned by the C H F Partnership, Gold Club hasn't won for some time but has run some solid races this season and was unlucky over course and distance last time out.

Archie tackles the mile handicap at Newbury at 2:40. The son of Fast Company has been a little in and out since joining us but has dropped in the weights as a result and if he can show us what he does on the gallops at home, he is up to being competitive in a race of this nature.

Tomorrow Monsieur Glory heads to Doncaster for the concluding ten furlong apprentice handicap. He hasn't been on the track since his Newbury success due to the weather but hopefully the Doncaster ground dries out and he can take his chance. He goes there in good form and promising apprentice Finley Marsh takes the ride.

Reflecting on some recent performances, Castle Talbot ran his normal consistent race to finish second at Yarmouth last week whilst Obrigada made a promising racecourse debut in a red-hot fillies' maiden at Kempton on Wednesday.
