Treble strike for the team
IT has been a good week for the team with three winners from three runners for the last seven days.
Grand Canal got the ball rolling last Friday with victory in the 1m4f handicap at Bath for owner Patrick Chau. The son of Australia won at Yarmouth last summer and returned to form back on his favoured fast turf. Winning under Jack Mitchell, Grand Canal passed the post over a length clear of his nearest pursuer.
On Thursday it was the return of Cash Machine who aimed to build on his promising debut second in the 6f maiden at Chelmsford. In the colours of the Rogues Gallery Syndicate, Cash Machine overcame a slow start to win also under Jack Mitchell, powering down the outside to score by half a length.
This afternoon we were all excited to see Rogue Bear's debut in the 6f novice at Doncaster. He had done some promising work at home and we were hopeful he would go well. He didn't disappoint and ran out a ready winner under a hands and heels ride by Jack.
In Rogue Bear and Cash Machine we hope that the Rogues have two exciting three year olds to go to war with.
Tom said: "The horses were hitting the bar a bit early in April so to have had three winners from as many runners this week is really great. The team at home have worked really hard so i'm delighted that this has been rewarded."
