Third win for Rogue Spirit

ROGUE Spirit won for the third time this season when taking the 5f Nursery at Haydock on Friday afternoon.

The son of Dark Angel, owned by the Rogues Gallery, has already won at Beverley and Wolverhampton this campaign and finished third in the Super Sprint at Newbury. 

He took his earnings for the year to over £50,000 a good return having cost just 11,000gns at the December yearling sale at Tattersalls.

Victory was straightforward and he was always in command under Connor Planas, winning by nearly three lengths.

Tom said: "He really is a little legend of a horse - he has some really decent form and has picked up plenty of prizemoney for his owners throughtout the year.

"He has done it well there and will go up in the weights a bit - he probably deserves a crack at a Stakes race now."
