Third for Gypsy Spirit at Chantilly
The daughter of Gregorian was given a lovely ride by James Doyle, settling on the heels of the leader which was the beautifully bred Obligate. The leader kicked away on the home turn but Gypsy Spirit stuck gamely to her guns finishing third, just a length behind the second Pure Zen. There was a further five lengths back to the fourth.
Having placed twice in Listed company as a juvenile, it was lovely to see her gain more 'black type' as a three-year-old. She is a tremendously tough filly who continues to give her owners lots of fun.
