Successful trip to Tattersalls Ireland and now on to Goffs

Once again trade was very strong but we were delighted to pick up a son of Casamento for 45,000eu. He was knocked down to Amanda Skiffington who has enjoyed great success with horses from this sale including 2000 Guineas winner Galileo Gold and Group 2 winner Hawksmoor. Hopefully our colt can continue her good record.

Next week we head to Goffs for their Orby and Sportsman Sale. Last year we picked up stable star Declarationoflove for just 28,000eu and he has earned just shy of £75,000 for owners Ian Barratt, Adam Signy and Stephen Short so far this season. We will be searching for another one like him.

We are quiet on the runners front for the next few days - it is a great shame that Ayr have lost their showcase Gold Cup Meeting to the weather. It was a great day's racing with excellent prizemoney. All being well it will be able to be rescheduled.
