Seeking Gold lands the odds at Yarmouth

SEEKING GOLD justified his short price when getting off the mark at the second time of asking in a 7f Novice at Yarmouth on Wednesday afternoon.
The son of Havana Gold, owned by the Living The Dream Syndicate, had finished runner-up on his sole start to date at Newbury in a race that had thrown up plenty of winners.
He was sent off the 11/10 favourite and duly obliged under Jack Mitchell despite showing signs of greeness.
Having travelled well in behind, Seeking Gold pricked his ears when hitting the front and Jack had to keep him up to his work to win by two lengths.
Tom said: "He is a colt we have liked since he came in. He's very straightforward and has a lovely attitude. He looked as though a mile will be well within his compass and will hopefully give his owners plenty of fun."
