Rogue Sea looks smart on debut

ROGUE SEA got his career off to the best possible start when winning a 1m2f Novice at Yarmouth on Saturday.

Owned by the Rogues Gallery, the son of Sea The Stars ran out a impressive winner on debut in the hands of Jack Mitchell.

He was ideally placed throughout, travelling strongly on the heels of the leaders. When Jack pressed the button with three furlongs to run, Rogue Sea picked up smartly to quicken clear of his rivals, winning by three and a half lengths.

Tom said: "We were worried about the soft ground but plenty of his relatives had form on it and we let him take his chance. He has moved through the race very smoothly and I was impressed with how he went clear close home. He has an excellent pedigree and can hopefully have a bright future."
