Rogue has the 'force' at Kempton
ROGUE Force made light work of shedding his maiden tag at the second time of asking at Kempton on Wednesday evening.
The son of Iffraaj, owned by the Rogues Gallery Syndicate, made a promising start when second at Chelmsford three weeks ago and stepped up on that effort to win easily under Jack Mitchell.
Despite being drawn in stall nine, Jack was soon able to adopt a handy position on the heels of the pacesetter Hemsworth.
The leader travelled better than Rogue Force turning the final bend but he kept responding well to Jack's urging and really found his stride up the straight.
He hit the front with a furlong to go and powered clear to win by over two lengths.
Tom said: "He is a lovely colt with a bright future. His debut at Chelmsford was promising and it was great to see him back that up with a good effort here. A mile on turf will be right up his street."
