Rogue Force is too strong at Kempton

Owned by the Rogues Gallery Syndicate, Rogue Force won his novice over course and distance but his form has been patchy since. He has benefitted from a recent wind-op and shaped well from a poor draw on his return last month.

Friday's race went smoothly with jockey Jack Mitchell able to adopt a good position on the heels on the learders. On entering the straight Rogue Force showed a good turn of foot to grab the rail at the cutaway and forge clear.

He stayed on well to win by a length.

Tom said: "We thought he'd go well and he has won nicely. The wind-op has helped and hopefully can gain confidence from this."
