Monsieur Glory strikes at Bath
MONSIEUR Glory secured his second win of the season when taking a 1m3f handicap at Bath on Thursday afternoon.
Owned by Jon Collins and Chris Fahy, Monsieur Glory won at Newbury back in early July and has also been placed three times this season.
He was given a lovely ride by Pat Cosgrave, who tracked the leaders before making his challenge with two furlongs to run.
Monsieur Glory picked up smoothly to take the lead at the furlong pole before going on to score decisively by a length and a half.
Tom said: "We thought that the step up in trip might bring about some improvement and he has done it nicely. Pat said that he was doing his best work at the end so we may look to go a little further again. He is a lovely horse who relishes fast ground."
