Missile on target for first of 2023

ROGUE Missile provided the team with our first winner of 2023 when winning the 6f fillies handicap at Kempton on Saturday evening.

Running for the Rogues Gallery, the daughter of Dandy Man hadn't been seen since winning at Chelmsford in July but the layoff proved no obsticle and she won nicely under Tom Marquand.

She was always well positioned on the heels of the leaders and picked up well on turning for home.

She took a little time to hit full stride but powered down the outside to win by a half a length.

Tom said: "It's always great to get the first win of the season on the board. This mare has an amazing temperament - she is so willing and knows how to win. She has plenty of ability too and we thought she was well in off 70.

"Tom has given her a really good ride - the owners have been patient - I am delighted this has been rewarded."
