Maestro Mac strikes at Chelmsford

Carrying the colours of Brian Keane and Steve Nugent, Maestro Mac was given a great ride by Josephine Gordon and won in emphatic style.

Josephine always had the son of Roderic O'Connor in a good position, just behind the leaders who went off at a good gallop.

She went the shortest route, making her move up the inner on turning for home. Maestro Mac was a willing partner and he picked up well up the straight, winning by two and a half lengths.

Tom said: "Maestro Mac has been in great form and we hoped he would go close today. Josephine has given him a lovely ride and there could be more to come from him on the all-weather."

Maestro Mac was purchased for 8,000gns at Tattersalls July Sale and has won at Yarmouth as well as finishing second at Goodwood since joining us.
