Juveniles to the fore thanks to Fairy Dust and Soldierpoy

The daughter of Gregorian  was second over course and distance last month and stepped up on that to win easily under Jack Mitchell.

She made almost every yard of the running, winning under hands and heels by two and a quarter lengths.

Tom said: "She is a filly who has always gone nicely at home and it's great to see her win like that on the track. The ground was quick enough for her so I'd say we won't rush her back now. Her main aim is the Tattersalls Book 3 race in the autumn."

Fairy Dust's effort came hot on the heels of Soldierpoy's terrific third in the Weatherby's Super Sprint at Newbury on Sunday. This £7,000 yearling buy stayed on strongly in the closing stages only missing out by half a length for second.
