Holy Kingdom looks class at Chelmsford

Owned by the Rogues Gallery Syndicate, this strapping son of Australia has run some creditable races in defeat this season and fully deserved to get his head in front.

Ridden by Cieren Fallon, he sat second of the three runners behind his main market rival Swift Wing. He raced keenly but always looked comfortable and tracked Swift Wing until the runners turned for home.

When Fallon said 'go' Holy Kingdom picked up well to pass the leader surge clear, winning convincinly by a length and a quarter.

Tom said: "I am thrilled for the horse - he should have won at Lingfield back in the winter and since then has been a bit unluckly. He is a lovely colt - has a great stride and a terrific attitude. He stays well and should go on from here."

It was great timing as the members of the Rogues Gallery Syndicate enjoyed an open morning at Kremlin House Stables the next morning. There was a strong turn out and members were shown their horses whilst enjoying a glass of fizz and bacon sandwiches.
