Gyspy Spirit set for Newbury return
This seven-furlong prize has been her long-term target and she has trained well in the build up to this assignment.
Having won her maiden on debut at Windsor last April, the daughter of Gregorian produced a string of good efforts most notably when going down by just a diminishing head in Listed company at Ripon.
It looks a particulary hot renewal but she goes there in good form and we are looking forward to her taking her chance.
Tom said: "We have had this race in mind for Gypsy Spirit all winter - she ran well in Stakes company as a two-year-old and I feel that a flat seven fulrong on good to soft ground could end up being her optimun conditions.
"She isn't a very big filly but she has strengthened over the winter and looks well in her coat for the time of year. It is a very competitive field this year but it should act as a good launchpad for the rest of the season."
