Gypsy Spirit lines up in Hilary Needler
GYPSY Spirit will take her chance in tomorrow's Hilary Needler Stakes at Beverley. The daughter of Gregorian won on debut at Windsor before chasing home two well-bred newcomers under a penalty at Lingfield last week.
It looks a competitive race but with £35,000 she deserves to take her chance and can hopefully run well under Gerard Mosse.
Tom said; "Gypsy Spirit won nicely on debut and did nothing wrong at Lingfield where she was giving weight to some nice types. She had a wide draw that day and showed plenty of speed. I would have preferred a better draw but the track should suit and she looks in great condition. It is a valuable race and we felt it was worth taking our chance."
At Newmarket, Rajman makes his debut in a 6f novice stakes. A 23,000gns breeze-up, he has been working nicely and we hope he shapes with promise for the future. Martin Harley rides.
