Askari heads to Wolverhampton

The son of Sea The Stars was purchased for owner Christopher Hill at the Tattersalls Horses In Training sale last October for 7,000gns having had three runs in maiden company for Roger Varian.

He is a half-brother to the Stakes-performer Justineo out of a Listed-winning Montjeu mare.

Askari hasn't run since early July and we are looking forward to getting him on the racetrack. Adam Kirby will take the ride but unfortunately the pair have been drawn widest of all in stall 12.

Tom said: "Askari is a lovely-looking son of Sea The Stars who starts in handicaps off a lowly mark. He is a big horse who needs racing and I expect him to improve for the run and hopefully show promsise for the future."
