2019 is best to date for Team Clover

With 19 winners on the board and prizemoney of close to £200,000, it was a very solid season for the yard. The highlight was undoubtledly Celsius's win at Glorious Goodwood in the Tatler Handicap but stable star Gypsy Spirit also flew the flag on numerous occasions in Europe, where she finished placed in four Listed contests.

The aforementioned Gypsy Spirit provided another great thrill when selling to Sackville Donald Bloodstock for 160,000gns at the Tattersalls December Sale. She cost just 6,000gns as a yearling and has given her enthusiastic owners some wonderful days.

Looking forward to 2020 the team is looking to build on their successful 2019 with the likes of Holy Kingdom, Monsieur Lambrays and Celsius all staying in training at four. All were progressive last year and can hopefully be competitive at the bigger meetings this season.

Tom and Jackie were also busy at the yearling sales and the dreams remain that there is a star among this year's crop of juveniles. Sires include Frankel, Pivotal, Australia and The Gurkhaa so hopefully lots to look forward to.
